1. Taking your iPod and the thinner Velcro strap, clip the iPod onto the Velcro, with the soft, fuzzy side facing the main iPod body.

2.  Strap the iPod onto your goggles with the Velcro. Fold both sides of the Velcro over the goggles and connect the two sides. This will secure the iPod to the goggles.

3. Set aside the MP3 player and Velcro. Unwrap the waterproof headphones and find the thicker piece of Velcro.

4. Wrap the waterproof  headphones cord around the middle 1/3 section of the thicker Velcro strap. Leave about 2 in of cordage free on the headphone jack side and about 8 in free on the earbud side. You can determine the proper free cord length by holding the Velcro/cord bundle to the back middle of your head and checking the length to your ears by inserting the earbuds. Adjust the free length as necessary by adjusting the number of cordage loops around the Velcro strap.

5. Next, strap the velcro strap and the headphones onto the goggles strap to the right of the waterproof iPod Shuffle. And plug in the headphone jack.

6.  Test the headphone length by putting on the goggles and inserting the earbuds. You want enough extra length in the cord so that the headphones are not pulled taut, but not so much that the headphones cord drags in the water.

7. Go swimming!
